The second retirement of Avro Vulcan XH558 has brought with it an incredible amount of attention not just from enthusiasts but also the wider public.

In an attempt to show and preserve the memories of XH558’s last 8 years of flight following restoration, the team at AeroResource put out a request for images to build a picture wall covering as many of her moments as possible.

The response has been tremendous with 100 individuals submitting over 225 images, which have been used to create this lasting memory. From formations – including with a pair of VC-10s to the Red Arrows – flights over land and sea, mixed with displays across the country there have been a wide range of images submitted. And, more importantly, these are your images that have been used and they have been submitted by everyone – from experienced photographers to amateur iPhone snappers alike.

So, with thanks to all those that submitted, AeroResource presents the Avro Vulcan XH558 Image Wall….
